Laptop.lk (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Laptop.lk mobile application.

This policy is accessible within the app and on the App Store listing, in compliance with Apple App Store Review Guidelines.

  - Collected only when you voluntarily create an account.
- Device & Technical Information
  - Device model and operating system version
  - IP address
  - App performance and crash diagnostics
  - We may collect Apple’s Identifier for Vendor (IDFV) solely for:
    - App security
    - Fraud prevention
    - Internal diagnostics
- Usage Data
  - Screens viewed
  - Features used
  - Interaction patterns
  - Used strictly to improve app functionality and user experience.

⚠️ We do not use IDFV for advertising, tracking across apps, or third-party profiling.

3. App Permissions

We request permissions only when necessary, and you may deny them at any time.

Camera: Scan QR codes or product information
Storage: Save invoices or order documents
Location: Show nearby Laptop.lk stores (optional)

The app remains functional even if permissions are denied, except where the feature specifically requires it.

4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:

Improve app stability and performance
Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal data
Data is shared only with essential service providers (payments, hosting, logistics)

7. Account Deletion & Data Retention
You may delete your account at any time:

In-app: Settings → Delete Account

Once deleted:

All personal data is permanently removed from active systems within 30 days
Required transactional records may be retained only where legally required

8. Children’s Privacy
Laptop.lk is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Any such data discovered will be deleted immediately.
